Add. Information: We put all updates at your own peril and risk. I got everything set up perfectly.
Update process: we start the car, be sure to turn off Bluetooth in the GU settings, insert the disk – the GU picks it up and offers to update – we agree and wait about 10-15 minutes.
Updating maps: the algorithm is the same, but it takes about 90 minutes in time. You can not keep the car running, it is permissible to put the key in the ON position – for safety, put a charger on the battery so that the battery does not sit down.
The first disk is the firmware, then in order 3 map disks.
Burn a disc image to a DVD + R disc (it happens that the GU does not read DVD-R discs and definitely does not read DVD + RW) with any program (CDBurnerXP, Alcohol120%, UltraISO) at the minimum speed (4x, and even better 2x). After recording, it will not be superfluous to check the recorded data with the regular means of the program.
Md5 is just a checksum file, you don’t need to write it.
