Description: Rebuilt Audi MMI3GP system maps for installation in Volkswagen’s RNS850 system.
This map build has more up-to-date map data compared to the latest official VW original maps at this point in time.
Installation:

1. Copy the contents (ie folders: pkgdb, VW and files build1, config.nfm, DBInfo.txt and metainfo2.txt) to the root of a 32Gb SD memory card formatted in FAT32.
2. Insert the card into SD slot #1 of the RNS850 which is located in the glove box.
3. Launch the “Development” menu in RNS by simultaneously pressing the “Setup + Phone” buttons. In this menu, select “Update” and in the pop-up window “Software Update” select the update source SD card 1.
4. In the next window, you need to select the “User” update method. Set to “D” (“Y”) all updated components and click the “Start Download” button.
5. Next, in the warning window “Do not interrupt the update”, click the “Start” button to restart the RNS and start the update process itself.
6. After 1 hour 20 minutes, the update will end with the display of the “Software Update” window. At the top of the window, if the update is successful, the “Retry” button will be inactive, under which the “Next” button will be active.
7. By pressing the “Next” button, we will receive a message in the window: “Feature of the launch of the tester: head unit / version update. Accepting the error code leads to a reboot.” This is fine.
8. Click the “Cancel Documentation” button to reload RNS. That’s it, RNS went to reboot and turned off, the map update is completed. We remove the memory card with updates from the 1st RNS slot.
9. Press “Setup” and enter the “Settings” menu. Next, by clicking “System / System” and “Version Information” we make sure that we have an updated version of the navigation system database: 8R0060884JN version 6.34.1

Add. Information: Maps are installed on RNS 850 with firmware version HN + _EU_VW_P0824 in the “User” update mode, with a forced indication of the update of all components.
Theoretically, it is possible to install cards on earlier firmware versions, but this feature was not tested by me for this assembly.
