WorkshopData ATI is our new information product available on CD and DVD. It is based on Vivid’s technical database, the most extensive repertory of car data in Europe. Electronics Smart Assistant
Automotive electronic technology is developing rapidly. To diagnose faults accurately, the automotive technician now needs detailed information on complex electronic processors (ECU’s) and their associated components. A single diagram displayed on a PC is no longer enough.
Designed specifically for the diagnosis and repair of modern vehicle electronic systems, the Electronics Smart Assistant will change the way the automotive
aftermarket views car electronics and diagnostics. The Smart Assistant is easy to use.
You can either enter EOBD codes or go straight to an electronic component. Clear, step-by-step instructions then lead you to an accurate diagnosis.
Our database contains thousands of standard P-codes, manufacturers’ fault codes, and detailed wiring diagrams, making the diagnostic process quick and easy.
The Electronics Smart Assistant is available either integrated within the application or as a stand-alone module.
INSTRUCTIONS :
- After installing VIVID. disable antivirus
- Copy the files VIVID_REG.EXE, CRP32DLL.DLL, WORKSHOP.41s and WORKSHOP.ckn to the directory:
A. Windows Vista or Windows 7: „C:\ProgramData\WorkshopData\48\
b. Windows XP: „C:\Documents & Settings\All Users\Application Data\WorkshopData\48\
- From there, run VIVID_REG.exe, we get the code
- run CrypKey6.exe, paste the received code. then set LEVEL = 1, License count=1, Limit by days=127, mark OPTION 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, generate code. paste it as a response in VIVID_REG.exe. registering
- Run VIVID_REG.exe again, get the code
- paste the received code into CrypKey6. then set LEVEL = 3, License count=1, Limit by days=127, check OPTION 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, Add to Existing License, generate code. paste it as a response in VIVID_REG.exe. registering
- repeat steps 5 and 6
- run the program and work
- Run X:\Vivid.WorkshopData.ATI.v10.2.Release.2010.Q2.Final\Disk1\InstData\VM\setup.exe, install
- Download, after installation, copy CRP32DLL.dll from here to the X:\Program Files\Vivid WorkshopData ATI\ directory
- Set the read-only attribute
- Before starting, delete all files in the following directories:
- Windows xP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\WorkshopData\48\
- Windows Vista or Windows 7: C:\ProgrammData\WorkshopData\48\
- Before the first launch of the program, disconnect from the Internet (let’s say disable the network connection), or block the program’s access to the Internet with a firewall
PS. If the license is 0 days, repeat everything from the previous paragraph again.
- Instructions for activating all available languages are described below.
- If everything is fine, we observe a similar license and the print function becomes available
